DAY 01 : JAKARTA - PANGKALAN BUN – KUMAI – ORANGUTAN
Morning transfer to airport for flight to Pangkalan Bun. Arrival in Pangkalan bun, meet our guide and transfer to Kumai to board on the boat. The boat is a traditional Klotok wooden river boat size 2,25 m x 15 m for 5 person with a roof which forms the upper deck where you can view the rain forest as it glides by. The guide's team includes the boatman, a cook and expert guide. In the peaceful afternoon we will slowly explore the quite river by the klotok while observe the monkeys along the riverside. Dinner on the boat and overnight on the boat or lodge. While overnight on the boat we serve thin mattress, pillow, fine meals, bottled "mineral" water, mosquito net, kitchen, simple toilet available on boat besides the familiar - helpful guides and boatmen.
DAY 02 : ORANGUTAN TOUR - EXPLORATION
After breakfast board the klotok to travel up river for about 2 hours boating and then up a side creek to Camp Leakey where the older orangutans are reintroduced into the rain forest. En route stop at Pondok Tanguy, the former rehabilitation center for the new ex-captive orangutans. At Camp Leakey you will have opportunity to trek into the rain forest with your expert guide and the forestry rangers to appreciate the flora as well as perhaps sighting wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, and birds. Lunch provided on boat. Afternoon visit the feeding station to see rehabilitate orangutans are given additional foods. We will then sail back down the river to overnight on the boat.
DAY 03 : END OF ORANGUTAN TOUR – PANGKALAN BUN – BANJARMASIN – LOKSADO
After an early breakfast, sail back to Kumai. Then drive to the airport and fly to Banjarmasin. Arrival at Banjarmasin, then proceed to Cempaka village to see traditional diamond mining and polishing, Next, visiting Pandak Daun villagge, a village famous as the home of thousands of water buffaloes. Here most of the peoples have numerous water buffaloes which is become a family business for a very long time. Afterwards, leaving to Loksado. You will arrive at late of evening, overnight on the local simple lodge for your dinner and accommodation.
DAY 04 : MUARA HATIP - MALARIS - HARATAI
After breakfast, Transfer to Malaris to see traditional long house,then trekking to Haratai waterfall crossing forest, rivers, longhouses, hanging bridge and traditional farms.Afterwards, return to Loksado through different trail passing big trees, valley and 3 isolated village and longhouse. In the afternoon, return to the small lodge for dinner and accommodation.
DAY 05 : LOKSADO - BAMBOO RAFTING – BANJARMASIN
After breakfast, Going to forest to cut the bamboos and setting the bamboo raft with villagers, then, do the bamboo rafting across mount Kantawan and tropical rainforest alongside of Amandit river. Return to Banjarmasin. Overnight at hotel in Banjarmasin.
DAY 06 : FLOATING MARKET BANJARMASIN – AIRPORT
Very early in the morning, we visit the floating market at Lok Baintan, about 1 hr drive from Banjarmasin. The one at Lok Baintan is more visited by sellers and buyer compare to the one at Barito. So we will visit the one at Lok Baintan. Start at about 05.00 from hotel, arriving there at 06.00. After exploring the market, visit Kembang island, about 45 minutes ride from the floating market. Although Pulau Kembang means the island of flower, hardly any flowers grow. People come to this island are mainly for praying at and giving offering to a small temple with white monkey statue. A big number of Long-tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis) inhabits this island. Return to Banjarmasin, then preparing yourself for check out, fly to your next destination. END OF YOU SERVICE
